From what I've have played (and that's not really that much, my levels range from 4 to 16, so I'm still sticking to Hard), best way is just to constantly run and always keep longest distance, blades are the killers on Hard and rifle is quite imprecise and has meek damage.

Other tactic that I've seen had one zerker using perk that knocks him on floor and others keeping distance.

You can't kill Hans now? I fought him earlier today and kicked his... behind.

Did you just have a berserker face tanking him while being healed by a medic before? The tactics of shooting him seem to work just as well as before.

  • Aim for his weak spot
  • dive into cover if he starts shooting you
  • Don't stand in gas
  • Try to avoid his grenades
  • Punch him in the face when he starts to melee you while trying to get away but stay near the team if at all possible
  • Heal the person he's draining

These are general tips and not steps you do in an order, so it's not a numbered list.

I never said I couldn't do it. I just wanted to know the most viable way because "Run away and shoot" is just chaotic in severs

I never had a problem beating him as Commando or Support in a team without a Zerk.

Have a decent Zerker tank him and a couple people with medic-pistols heal him. Everyone else just has to unload on Han's, avoid taking aggro away from the Zerker, and avoid grenades.

Does using the Bashing attack on Hans have a chance of stumbling him? I haven't really tried punching him before when he starts melee'ing me (as anyone not Berserker or Medic).

Every zed stumbles to a bash. It's so they can't beat you into a corner and then beat you until you die. Because those situations just feel unfair.

What really sucks is when a teammate is using a high powered weapon that stumbles because then a punch wont stumble a zed because there's a cooldown on it so you can't stunlock zeds.

It'll save you a hit on like a scrake or a fp or Hans but isn't really an effective strategy for a win, not alone at least.

Pulverizer/zweihander power attack, evicerator, or .500 can also stumble a zed.
