If you update your server using hlds you will probably automatically add the new maps.

I just wasn't sure because it was a strictly 3rd party content update. And a map is a map. If nothing hardcoded was changed and so on then it wouldn't really need a server update. But I know nothing of what it did/does/how etc of computers so anyway...hehe
Two questions, TWI guys...
1) New achievements planned for the maps?
2) Do the guest passes expire if we don't use them after a certain amount of time? I wanna save mine for when I meet someone new who might like KF.

Brilliant update guys, I assume they'll be achievements for the 4 new maps normal, hard, suicidal with quirky names for the achievements (you've never let us down)
perhaps some new basic achievements too? like headshot 200 Scrakes, (a real pain in the head)
or kill 200 Sirens using the Flamethrower (Siren says BURN!)
Just a few ideas.
I will be purchasing RO when I get home from work, what a fantastic deal!

yeah I got RO after playing KF. I really liked it, but it is a shame it is slightly underpopulated for such a geat game.
Tripwire, just wanted to thank you for being you. In an age where it's normal for developers to charge a load of money for DLC's, remove dedicated server support and charge $60 for the console ports they release, you guys are a breath of fresh air. Thanks for releasing all of this cool stuff (as well as the previous updates) for free. It's good to know that there are still game developers who are primarily driven by the passion for videogames, and not by greed. Thanks, TWI. You guy rock. Keep it up.

I think it's like most other guest passes, 3 days.
You know, TWI could have released KF retail without half the graphical effects, then packed the 9 new weapons, new graphical effects and all the DLCs for $50.
9 new weapons, 2 DLC packs and bug fixes for free..
Well, except the DLC packs, but they are only 3 quid together
Hmm... I had 2 passes yesterday, I opened steam when I got home and the passes are gone. I messaged a few of my friends and their passes are gone too, what gives?
