Hey there guys, been getting back into this game and I couldn't remember if you could "Zoom In" more or less with the sniper scope. I know, by using your Iron Sight key, you can toggle the scope, to look through it, but is there a way to up the magnification? I've been practicing on Sniper servers when theres no regular maps to play, and I'm not used to shooting targets that are far away, I know practicing makes perfect, etc.

Anyway... is there a way to up the magnification? If so, how? :D Thanks

It seems everyone in this thread has failed you, but don't worry must are just noobs it seems :p

You can see farther in your sniper scope using the textured scope model for your sniper rifle. Although you loose the peripheral vision using it, it still has its advantages if you don't care for those snibbet details. You still cover more range with it other than the low and high models, once you learn to use it properly.

I thought in the original release of RO their were 3 different sniper scope views that you could change by hitting "f12" or something, right?

I no longer think you are able to change the sniper scope view after a major patch a long time ago.
The on-the-fly change through a button-press was taken out a while ago because it was said to be buggy. It was meant for different detail-settings though and not for different magnification strengths though it is true that you can basically change the percentage of the screen the scope takes up (for the more detailed view is bigger than the less detailed view - or the other way 'round lol) so you can basically make things in it appear bigger.
