So with the news of a single player campaign this brings a new question to the table for many of us. Which will we play first, single player or multiplayer.Since for most games it always seems the single player is tons better then the multiplayer. This is for the benefit of both the community and myself hopefully, always nice to see what other players do first.

I never played the first one, so I am going to play the Campaign first so when I get into the multiplayer I have some semblance of how to play before I die horribly.

I'm gonna try out weapons, ballistics, recoil and stuff in single player first.

But this is also especially going to be really welcome when I'm somewhere where I've no internet connection :)

I was really hopeful they would actually have a story behind a soldier similar to Medal of Honor or even COD from a German perspective. Seeing as its only those game modes as in multiplayer against bots I doubt I will even look at the Singleplayer. I would have been fine if they left it out and focused even more time on the Multiplayer.

The campaign more specifically follows a group of soldiers more than one soldier.

I'll do the SP first... it's what I always do with a game, and have done since the RO mod days, even though they bots were crap.... it's good practice to learn the weapons, vehicles and the maps before hopping online and getting lost & skooled.

First thing i'll do is set up a skirmish if thats possible still(Rather get right in the action I want if I can vs. campaign) Play a combined arms map on firefight. Take the driver slot of a tank and try to drive right through a house filled with Russians. I can't imagine they left bot skirmish out considering AI was pretty bad in RO 1, and they still left the ability to play alot of maps in skirmish bot match mode.

Then try out the machine gun and sniper rifle iron sights. Also probably alot of practicing the cover system. Apperently its simpler then it seems but it'll be learning none the less. Then straight to multiplayer after I try the tank thing, fire alot of rounds into a group of enemies with the MG, and get a stomache shot with the sniper to see this writhing pain animation. And probably try a neck shot near a wall to see if I get arterial spray :D

Edit: ^ And to the guy two posts above, I believe one of the developers said that the beta would be all inclusive(Multi and single). But someone could correct me on that.

Playing online is great, but I love the thought of a German campaign. I'll probably dive right into both.

I'll play the campaign a little just to get used to the controls, test out sensitivity and such, and learn basic game play.

Otherwise, multiplayer > single player.
