should non commandos be able to see stalker shadow??

The commando class can see any cloaked opponant when they get close but in well lit maps anyone can see the shadows cast by cloakers from much farther than even a commando can detect cloakers. it makes it too easy to kill the stalkers in my opinion. just see a moving shadow and shoot slightly above it and you get a kill every time. I am not sure if this is intended or a bug in the graphics system

Light + object = shadows
I dont see why you would like to remove the shadow of the Stalkers, especially when they are not totally invisible.

Course not. Its easy to see if theres nothing much going on even in low light, but when it hits the fan and you quickly look behind you or something its very easy to overlook the shadow and the slight outline of Stalkers and wind up getting hit in the back.

You take the weapon of your choice, spam it into hordes of incoming specimen and watch cloaked stalkers drop like flies because they apparently were in the way.;)

Agree, it's kind of irrelevant since that "shadow" is commonly overlooked when swarmed. They should however make the stalker attack while moving, currently you can just walk into her, see her attacking and avoid it easily. Allowing to puke while moving has already turned the bloat into a much more threatening ZED, although it's head weakness makes him a joke against any bullet-driven perk.

I think Stalkers are more of an annoyance than a real challenge, but by annoying you, they make the challenge presented by tougher specimens, even tougher. Just like the Husk is the ranged enemy; Fleshpound is the powerhouse; Scrake is the damage sponge; the Stalker is the espionage agent of the zed's team. The Stalkers block shots; take a cheap shots at you every now and again, either distracting you from other attacks or merely blinding you temporarily to make other attacks more successful. The stalkers are fine as they are right now. While I agree they could be a tiny bit more invisible, it's not too much of an issue really.
