I just noticed this whilst in spectator mode, when a mosin nagant shoots it automatically ejects the spent shell even before the reload animation starts, that can't be right, even with my very limited knowlegde of guns.

Clearly you're not familiar with Soviet phase-state munitions /dramasigh

Sounds like a bug more than a suggestion, give them a buzz in the Bug Report forum :)

I have seen it too at least once but maybe the unreal engine is made for auto weapons.
