German hero units get white camouflage from what I have seen on the Red October map.

Freezing German soldiers in summer uniform on snowy winter map should have extra weapon sway to simulate shivering

But most importantly can we first get the f***ing great coats? Why on earth do the germans not have that in game?!
Good pic, I can provide more info about it: we see a soldier of the spanish Blue Division in the Leningrad front.

Can somebody explain it to me (in normal human tone), that why the look is so important? You will shoot the enemy. Can you hit it better, if he wears a great coat, or white uniform? Or why? If you see the Spartanovka stage, when you start as a german, that looks like a desert stage. The white coat will be draw a nice big crosshair on you!
And I think it's only "what-you-shoot" and not a "how-you-shoot" problem. If you can understand. (Eye-candy vs performance) So I think, because none of us was there, this "problem" don't have to be exacty historically accurate. I will kill anybody who doesn't wear the same helmet as me. (I recognize friend/foe by head)

Why don't we make a sci-fi game instead? Why did they even bother researching the game? Why did they spend so much time on the graphics and making the locations look like the real thing? Why don't we shoot green and red blobs instead of Germans and Russians? It's called immersion.

Nobody's saying we should have winter camouflage on Spartanovka. The battle of Stalingrad wasn't fought on one day, there's a timeline you know. It's already been explained multiple times that they attacked in summer uniforms, but needed to adapt when the cold winter hit them. I'm sorry if you feel that I didn't respond with a "normal human tone", I guess it's more of a history buff tone, but your post sounds like a rhetorical critique rather than a real question.

I respect your opinion that you don't care too much either way about historical accuracy, but I also ask you to respect ours. Some people are drawn to this game partly or wholly because of the historical aspect.
