RO2 server problem

server problem

my server has been ranked yesterday in the webadmin.but it cannot seen in the game list .the server ip is 222.186.56.82. maybe it caused by in my application form gaming communication group name is chinese or other problems .please adminstrator check it.thanks

Is it a rented (a server from a GSP) or a private hosted server (e.g. a box in your own house)?

If the first, then you should contact your GSP.

If the second, then ensure that you forwarded the correct ports on your router (see here). Also ensure that the server has internet action in both directions (firewall).

Regarding the Chinese name, my suggestion is to get it working first with a alpha-numeric name. After that switch to Chinese.

but i have applied it.are you adminstrator in server managing?can you change it with a useful name? the server can use(we have play game in it) when it unrank .but when we ranked yesterday .we can not found it both in unrank and rank list

I believe you are at the wrong place. This is the Tripwire Interactive (TWI) forum. This is not your GSP's forum. TWI develops games. They do not host servers. You really need to contact the company from which you rent that server. Only they can help you in this matter.

Correct, the ranking is managed by TWI and your server is ranked (can tell from those screen shots). This means TWI did do their part. If your server doesn't show-up on the server browser, though is ranked, then this indicates that your GSP did not properly configure the server at their side. You will have to contact them.

Hey,
have you checked the Steam Server Browser if the current Server IP matches with the correct one?
We had this a few times when the Root Server had a restart.
The Server had a wrong IP then, was working but was not in my favourites.
I had to search then for it, then we found it always, but with a wrong IP. Can you check this please if you can find your Server in the Steam Server Browser, clicking then on Information to show the IP.

Since you posted a screen shot of the servers console window I will assume that you are hosting it yourself (thus not a rented server). In that case, did you forward port 27015? It's the port used for querying your server. If that one is blocked or not forwarded, then you can play on the server by using the open command, though your server won't show up in the server browser.

actually the server is rented.but not the game server.it is a server in host computer room.i use the remote administration instell the server process.but the port is all opened and the renter donnot close any port.when my server instell successfully anf apply rank we play it in unrank list for 4 days then it disappeared i had think it cause by rank,but on weekend in web adminstrator it being ranked but i cannot find it in list still

Hi,

start Steam, right click on your steam Symbol in the Windows Taskbar, then click on "Server". Configure the Steam Server Browser to show only RO2 Servers. If the Steam Symbol doesn`t show in the taskbar please click on the white triangle on the right sight at your taskbar and make the settings to show the steam symbol and its notifications all the time.

If you still can`t find it: I had it a few times at a friendly clan that their ini files had been broken once due to a OS-Change to Win8, other case=i forgot. So they needed ini`s from a working server to upload them to their server cause changes like Servername and Settings did not work correctly.

Maybe this could help you.
