Is it just me or do servers only play one set of maps? It appears if you want to play the older maps you have to find a server that plays them exclusively. Are servers only capable of playing a certain set of maps or is it just their choice to do so?

The older maps were removed in the last patch for "fixing", any servers still running those maps haven't been updated, so they won't have the "newer maps"
In fact if you can actually play on the servers with older maps, you haven't been updated either.
