It's the way he said it. It was really cheesy, very forced sounding. Didn't sound genuine. In general, it was bad acting. Just edit the scene out if you don't get a good take, why leave it in?
It was ok, but still better than alot of other shows out there.

Whenever I see Andrew Lincoln I can only think of Egg or Teachers, rather than as an American Sheriff's Deputy. Spoils the illusion somewhat
I know what you mean mate.Both of those shows were brilliant.But i am liking The Walking Dead.Its just a bit of belly button fluff.But its watch able.Its not quite up there with "The Fades" I must admit.I either watch The walking dead on the interweb or on catch up.So i can fast forward past all the moral/soul searching bollocks in every episode(but its no worse in this respect than any other yank show).
But I do have a few major issues with the show.
For one.
In a country which has possibly the most guns per population in the world.Why do they seem to be unable to find many guns?
Surely you just pop to your local gun shop/supermarket( or haven't they seen Dawn of the Dead ). Or you just loot every vehicle that you pass.Or drive to your local police/army base and break in
Why can't they find food and water?
Surely you just go to your local supermarket/shopping mall.(I take it they haven't seen dawn of the dead then). Or you loot all the 1000's of vehicles that they seem to pass while driving out of the major cities.
Why are they running out of fuel?
I do understand there is no power.But they seem to drive past whole traffic jams full of vehicles out of which they could syphon fuel into the jerry cans that you would have taken to store fuel and water.Or even break into the tanks in a petrol station.In fact why would you be driving round in old knackered vehicles when there are thousands of brand new ones in car show rooms or better ones in all the traffic jams.

If you watch it on catch up or on demand.Its simples.Plus the adverts in between the sections disappear.

The episode started ****ing brilliantly, gore, tension, more gore, then it turned into a ****ing SAVE THE CHIDRUN cliche and I facepalmed.
I hope and pray that the ****ing son dies and the little girl stays missing, kids ruin absolutely everything.
I'm enjoying it. I dont mind the kids being there, stops people from drama-queening too much with the kids around, and provide a sense of duty for the group to care for them, and they are the hope for a sustainable future when the parents are old and wrinkled
No show is perfect, but i'm enjoying this and am glad it's picking up again.
Makes me want to play some Project Zomboid.
