Infantry have to ask tank commanders to destroy apc and have to give coordinates to them.Much Easyer to have a option for the driver to Blow up Apc when he is done with it in 15 or 30 sec. Just some key he have to push and that it when he is done with it blowns it up and it spowns again for others that will use it.

A bit dodgy, too. The vehicle explosion would be used to kill other people, or just to scare them.

im guessing the OP doesn't want this for realism, it is to deal with the problem of limited APC spawns (i.e. infantry stuck at base so have to ask allied tankers to destroy an idle halftrack they used last spawn)

so in that sense what he is saying makes sense gameplay-wise.

However, RO2 should have a larger spawn limit for halftracks so the problem will be fixed?

also there isn't infantry carriers on release iirc, so doesn't matter for now anyway

I'm sure the idea was to encourage (or shame) people into taking a full apc into battle. And not just one man.

I say if one man takes the apc, then he should blow up 15 seconds after abandoning it.
