I've been in love with support since kf1, used to have a main loadout I'd stick to. Im trying to find a go to loadout for sui/hoe that works well in kf2. I'm leaning towards dbs/deagle but I'm unsure what to add. M4 now holding 8 rounds makes it viable, but I hate giving up my bombard for tactical reload (which only seems to help with the Mossberg and the m4). Stumbling sc and fp is just too good. Aa12 is great, but so damn expensive I practically wait till wave 9 or 10, which means the majority of the time it's not in the build.

What do you run as support?

for me the absolute must have is the DB, can skip it a few times, but is at least my staple.
most people used to do aa12,db,mossbert, but now we have more options with the pistols.
1911 is pretty good, even if penetration was fixed, that or deagle/medic pistol is a good sidearm.

i guess it depends on your playstyle, most of the time i can buy aa12 at wave 5-6, so im guessing you might be making some mistake in spending? care to share what you go for?

Double Barrel Shotgun + RPG+ Medic Pistol.

Double Barrel handles everything up, and including, Scrakes. The RPG for faster Scrake removal and Fleahpound removal. Lastly the Medic Pistol, so I can stumble almost every Zed in the game and heal my mates.

It's probably not the best load out, but I find it the most fun to play with.

EDIT: Double Barrel for killing Scrakes, is assuming your mates aren't potatoes.

Won't be original there, but I often use a boomstick for all-around usefulness and an AA-12 for the big meat. I often pick a medic pistol as it's too valuable to miss.

I typically pick the Grannies Boomstick, AA12 and a medic pistol but I'll probably replace it with a Deagle.

Ammo economy wise, the best loadout is still AA12, Boomstick and Medic Pistol. Support is all about making your shots count after the ammo nerf, so I like to go with what maximizes that. I haven't played with the M4 much, but I was under the impression that the goal was to kill SC's and FP's, not stumble them.

Drearierspider:
The goal is indeed to kill them, but stumbling is amazing. Most of the time my alt fire from dbs stumbles the big guys, which means I can get another alt fire off before they charge at me.

Specskill:
How effective is the RPG offperk for FP?

random:
I am lvl 25 in support so I try not to hog kills from guys that need xp, which earns me less money. I find that my party usually camps an area, and my job is bouncing around to help where the zeds might break the lines. If one spot starts getting overrun, that's where I go. So it's usually not until later waves that I rack up kills, and therefore cash.

What do people use tenacity a lot. I always thought that it wasn't a very good increase in damage. Could someone tell me how 5 more kg isn't better than %10 more damage. I end up using the pump, DB, AA-12.

Considering it adds too many weapons in my inventory. Also weight.

Two primary and a strong side arm does well.

What is a good choice for a side arm. I just use pump for trash

Before the update I would use the medic pistol. Since gunslinger its either the m1911 or the deagle. Depends what type of power you're looking at. M1911 does a good amount of damage for its cheap price. The deagle can one shot trash and two/three shot middle ground zed.

The 10% damage is great on the first 4 rounds when you don't have a need for the extra inventory. But later waves when you have money to spend on big boy guns the 5kg is definitely better.

Medic pistol is great when there's no dedicated medic, but I usually think it's unnecessary if there's a decent medic.

I'm leaning towards deagle for trash on every map that isn't biotics lab. Biotics lab I run the Mossberg for trash

I've actually been using the M4+Deagle+AA-12 loadout lately. The deagle makes a great side arm just for clearing smaller groups of trash but you could also use the M1911 if you want. I tend to spray too many shots with the M1911 and deagle has its penetration. I use my M4 with big clusters and I sometimes pump some shots into scrakes and fleshpounds but not much. I use the AA-12 for the big guns obviously. Sure it isn't the most efficient loadout in terms for its potential kills per ammo ratio but I don't have any problems running out of ammo since I don't try to kill every possible zed. I'm mainly there to stack damage on the big zeds.

Surprisingly, after the addition of gunslinger, my favored support loadout is still the same as it was over seven months ago: AA12/Double/Pump/Medpistol.
I've heard good things about M4/Double/Pump/.500, though, been meaning to try it.

Much later edit: AA12+Double+Crossbow is excellent.

There are two different ones I rotate around with.

1) Double barrel/AA12/medpistol (this is with tenacity)

2) Double barrel/AA12/pulverizer (this is with strength)

I use the ammo perk instead of supplier unless my team requests otherwise. I choose fortitude over regen. I also use tactical reload over bombard. When the boss wave comes I switch to bombard. Zed time skill I use barrage.
