How do you manage with the bow? I tried it and it's next to useless in my hands. Though I only tried it at the beginning without adding attributes to it.
That's the problem right there hehe.
If you put some good amount of points in horse archery you can get as accurate as if you were standing still on foot. After that, it's just a question of aiming at the correct location to hit a moving target, or while moving yourself around your target.
Bows are much more useful than crossbows in M&B, because if their range and rate of fire.

I had no real expectations going in and I left satisfied. It's definitely old school style FPS gameplay here and sometimes the visuals are just as old school.
Only thing I didn't really like was the fact that you can only hold two weapons at a time, plus pipebombs and other bonus items. Whomever thought that only two primary weapons was a good idea can F off.

It's really not that bad for how short the segment was. You're in a vehicle for a short time, it runs out of gas, and you are on foot from there for the rest of the demo.
Downloaded a new Su-33 3D model. The textures can use some work in some areas, but overall it is far better than the original model. Sadly, AA is not working for me so excuse the jaggies.

It's far far more linear in comparison. There's still quite a bit of destruction but you can't just go around wherever you want to destroy things at your leisure.
Exactly the reason I am not interested in it. I liked RF:G a lot. The chases would often get chaotic and it could lead to some epic explosions and destruction. The latest game just seems lame in comparison.
Some screen shots of Rise of Flight. I could not take out the train with my mere machineguns, so I decided to ram it. I separated the rear train cars from the front of the train. Mission semi-accomplished.

The game is now free with only two aircraft. Truly a great flight sim.
