Wow, those screens blur so much that they literally made my eyes water.

To be fair, the game looks very impressive in motion. I'll take some video tomorrow. The "blur" especially in the last picture is a very neat effect that happens at either really high speeds while viewing through your driver's view or when breaking from really high speeds.
I guess to simulate the effects of the forces acting upon you or something, I dunno. Either way it's cool.
And pffft, I suck at driving games. Be lucky I have driving assists off.

Zips is that Shift 2? Looks good is it a decent port? 1 more question are there like classic car events or is it all modern events?

Yeah, it's SHIFT 2. And ... uh... yeah, it's a decent 'port'. Runs quite well, seems to have lots of bells and whistles as far as a NFS racing game goes.
I'm not quite sure what all event types there are though, I am barely into the career mode. So far, it's more modern type stuff. Maybe Putz can shed more light on it though as I'm sure he's much further along than I am.

I'm currently raiding a convoy protected by one light cruiser and two destroyers. One destroyer has been sunk, the other one is heavily damaged and the cruiser is also quite battered.

Ya, there are classic car/classic muscle events. Here are some of the more interesting transportation offerings. There are some others, mostly Supras and Skylines lumped in with the "retro" category.
