In my opinion, Bioshock has turned into a disappointing affair. What I had hoped as an atmospheric and immersive game has turned into an action fest in which the setting takes a back seat. Bioshock would be great without the constant combat.

A commander of mine betrayed me and gave all of his units to the rebels.

The spikes were cool. I don't know how much they actually did, but I felt a lot safer with them in place.:D
I still would have lost if the enemy hadn't lost his will to fight about half way through. But what can you expect from a traitor...
Archers aren't nearly as effective as I remember them from Rome where they could decimate enemy troops and not just burn down their morale.

About the framerate: It runs surprisingly well with fairly high detail settings. It also doesn't seem to care a lot about how many units are in view (yet. The biggest battle I've seen so far is the one in the battle tutorial), which is pretty cool. Can't complain. :)

Big surprise there if you attend the game with wrong expectations in the first place
I didn't walk into Bioshock 2 or Bioshock 1 expecting it to be like System Shock 1/2. I knew it wasn't going to be like them. I didn't like it because the gameplay was tired, boring, and the story was unappealing. The only thing I liked about either game was the art direction. Other than that, the game didn't keep me mildly interested and I uninstalled it. Same thing happened to the first Bioshock.

Sorry if you can't wrap your head around people not liking a game that you do, but I don't like it. Guess you'll have to deal with it.

I didn't even play BioShock 2 yet, it just sounded like you were expecting it to be a 'dumbed down' System Shock 1/2 judging by your answer.

That jacket with the orange looks ugly -_- the pants looks pretty good though. Getting Arma 2 when it becomes a little cheaper. Esp since it runs pretty poop on my system for some reason. At least the demo did. Maybe some patched did it good, who knows.

A video of my custom GRAW 2 mod. It is based off of Brettzies and Snowfellas mods.

I changed things like weapon weights, recoil, added the G-36K, G-36, and RPG-7 as selectable weapons in single player.

Made the flash lights selectable for the G-36s (were only for AI before, you can't turn them off). Added ACOGs to them.

Added the aimpoint to the M-14, and reduced the recoil greatly. Now you can actually hit something with the second shot.

I ported over the MES SOC M1911 pistol from Snowfella's GRAW 1 mod.

And many more things. I have a similar mod for GRAW 1 as well.

I was going to combine Brettzies mod with the Masada mod as well as Snowfella's M4 mod, but I never got around to that.

Anyways, the video:

YouTube - GRAW 2 Armory (custom mod)

Please note that the mod is not for download, and will never be.

Unless a bunch of people convince me to ask Brettzie and Snowfella if it is ok to redistribute their work...:p
