True, it would be correct contextually. But in german, at least in austrian german, the word "Land" is more comonly used for the countryside. For "country", the word "Staat" (state) or "Bund" (federation) are the words to use.
Thus, the word "Landmacht" just looks rural for us austrians.

Oh yeah? Then why does it say "Landstreitmacht" on the German Wikipedia?

I think you Austrians are just weird.

TBH, the "land" in "Koninklijke Landmacht" can both refer to "country" (as in The Netherlands) and the "ground". It depends on who you ask I guess.
