There is a mod that recreates Unreal 1 in UT2004. It's basically a 1:1 port, but there are a few StaticMeshes from UT2004 in there. Without direct comparison shots it's hard to notice them though.
Unfortunately the new engine can't do those semi-reflecting floors Unreal 1 had in some places, and the work-around in the mod looks weird at best. Other than that it's pretty good. For those who don't have Unreal 1 it's a good alternative.

Tbh, I never opened the original Unreal 1 maps in the editor, but I'm pretty sure the old engine could do that by simply checking a box in the surface properties. The new engine has a "mirror" option, but I don't recommend using it.Wasn't the reflection effect achieved by mirroring the room upside down and putting a semi transparent floor texture in between them?
