I'm on a Warhammer40k kick while I wait for R.O. so here's some gameshots run through a few photoshop filters for a cinematic effect, although none of these pictures were made by me they're a great sampling from a larger collection.

The Solar System, 2227. So far the galaxy has been peaceful, but as habitable planets become scarce the spacefaring races quietly begin building up warships for the inevitable conflict. The first Terran missile corvettes start coming off the assembly line, soon to be followed fighter squadrons and troop transports.
I've been playing Galactic Civilizations II waiting for RO, and its been suprisingly good. Its like they took MOO3, and then got rid of everything that made it suck.
A Terran invasion fleet assembles in an uninhabited system.
Shortly after crossing the border a Terran task force engages enemy fighters...
Unfortunately the enemy didn't bring a capital ship
