Hi,

is there a way to configure a screen resolution of 1440x900 ?
This is the standard resolution of my labtop. I play the game in 1280x800 with full details. I think it should be able to support the maximum screen size but I can't set these settings

you can set any resolution you want in the ini files.

open this folder on your system (where you installed steam)

Steam\SteamApps\your name\red orchestra\System

and look for

redorchestra.ini

open it and do a ctrl+F (search) for FullscreenViewportX

you'll see
FullscreenViewportX=1280
FullscreenViewportY=800

just change the numbers into 1440 and 900 respectively, save, and then start the game.
and injoy.
just be sure not the change the resolution again or you'll have to do this again.

And here I go again!

The problem is again the same. I want to set my screen to 1440*900 in game.
I installed Vista RC1 on my machine and transferred the whole steam folder from my xp installation to my vista rc1 installation.
Everything works fine! No problems.

But now I installed the final Vista Version. I'm using the same installation of RO as before but now it's no longer possible to set the resolution to 1440*900.
RO ignores the parameter an only uses the default resolutions

Any idea what I can do now?

Google for a program called refreshforce you should be able to add certain resolutions with their refreshrates to the default monitor resolutions list of your windows. (you can try a driver of your monitor aswell)

Do you really think this could help me?
I've a tft display. So there are not many combinations to select or to force!

I tried the tool but it had no effect on the game.
