Is it worth to add a heal pts into the scoreboard?
Only healing teammate would be counted but not healing himself/herself.
This may encourage people to heal their teammate.

I like it.:D

My only question . . . Think alot more meds will show up out of the blue? Like a team of 6meds healing just to heal? I would LOL so hard at that.

"dude, how many points to I need to heal before I can call in a nuke?"

nah, I'm jokin :p but I would predict a surge in medics, followed by a return to normalcy as soon as they figure out how hard it is, and that medpoints do pretty much nothing in-game. However, it would encourage medics who exist for the kills to get healing, and encourage people to try the perk out:D

There have been quite a few suggestions like this in the past including:
1. Removing kill count
2. Global stats
3. Change to score (based on this, that, and the other)
4. Count perk specific (commando is small zeds, SS is headshot, support is welding, ect.)
Good idea and doesn't look hard to change. But TWI hasn't.

Lol thanks for the replys.

What I am going to suggest is to fully utilize the scoreboard.
I do think that the scoreboard was not only reporting the number of zeds you killed but also providing more detail information just like the forth point of Akame said.

BTW, I have just did a little search on the forum and many of them are ancient threads.

Off-topic here... can anyone tell me how to change to welder instantly by pressing one button but not using mousewheel?

Press the 5 key twice. Not instantly, but significantly quicker than the mousewheel, and it requires no modifications to the .ini file.

This does not fix the problem. Everytime I want to use welder I have to change to syringe first, this make me annoying and it is time consuming. I just want to change to welder with only one press! ;)

Go into the .ini file then, and input the necessary code.

This allows you to bind the Welder to say, 6 or whatever you want.

I've never figured out what code is required, but you can ask around.

I've not been able to find the .ini file myself since all the files in that folder are .int for me.

The easy way is to bind a key (say j) to switching tools twice:
In the file User.ini in the system folder of killing floor edit
Code:
I=ToggleAiming
j=
K=ShowKickMenu
to
Code:
I=ToggleAiming
j=switchweapon 9|switchweapon 9
K=ShowKickMenu
should work.

Otherwise you have to set up an alias which is not something most people want to do.

I support this as well. Especially since I've started playing hard mode. Not a single medic I've met since I started playing hard heal.

Its twice as painful because medic is my favorite perk, and when I see a medic on a team allready I switch to a different perk. Then I find out they have no intention of healing.

I would love to see heal points on the scoreboard.
Medic is my favorite class. And I spend most of the game keeping everyone alive. But it's never appreciated. People constantly heal themselves as soon as they take damage (even though I'm right there keeping them healthy). And many have complained that I'm "not helping" because they see me having very few kills.

I'd like them to be able to see just how much healing I've been doing. I managed to gain almost 5000 points of healing during one game. Which is quite a bit, even for me. But others don't see that.

I think the scoreboard should show:

Player name
Kills
Damage Dealt
Damage Healed
Money (stop those guys who keep begging for money even though they have plenty)

Also, for the Healthy/Injured/etc... Perhaps let us toggle to show percentages instead.

here to kill your monster
never mind tripwire doing it, there's no reason why it couldn't make whitelist if someone came up with this.
it would be good if someone could create a scoresheet that list various interesting statistics - amoungst others i would personally like to to see healing given, damage taken, headshots, welding and a tally for certain creatures killed (fp, scrake, and total damage to patriarch at the end of game)

as to the instant welder select button, i would also like to see the player have some way of placing his items into certain numberslots of choice - it would have to be done on the fly as you buy or pick up weapons thou, phaps another tab in options or another menu.
(mebbe in the coms menu you could select assign slot > number 1-9 to apply to whatever weapon you were holding at the time.
this might get blacklisted however as i guess it makes the game slightly easier.

Me and 3 friends did this about a week ago. Played a normal long game as 2 level 5 medics and 2 level 6 medics. We died like 30 left in wave 7 when 2 fleshpounds hit lol. It was a funny thing to see.

As for the scoreboard there is a mutator in the madding section (I think I remember this) that turns the scoreboard from kill count to time survived.

Edit: just went and searched modding section and found this a few pages in:
