there is more hype for ro then there was for killing floor and killing floor has sold how many copies so far? 400k?
I personally expect that long term sales will be in the 600k-1 million region.
I order ten copies instantly if someone tell me a release date![]()
What would Tripwire think about releasing RO1 for free over steam?
I hope they give OST away with a preorder and try it or gift it if you already have it.What would Tripwire think about releasing RO1 for free over steam?
I agree. I think RO2 will start off slow, but pick up steam over time.I dont think it will sell super good initially. As in the end HOS won't get marketing of the levels of EA or Activisions pr teams. But the support and updates will eventually draw in a lot more people. So you'll likely see people buy it over a long time span.
The main point of advertising for TWI has always been word of mouth. And I think that it will be the same for HOS.
Well it technically has a German campaign, so maybe we'll get lucky and Glenn Beck will call John Gibson a Nazi! lol I actually don't think that is as far fetched as one might think ...Make a political hassle that makes it into the news like with MoH and boost +33434% sales.
I wish I could invest in TWI... but it's a LLC. No stock.![]()

Imediate sales go - Be profitiable and sell more copies of the game than it cost to make! If we can do like we did in RO 1 and cover this in pre-order sales I think we'll be really happy
Long Term Sales goal - Like with all our games, make a profit so all the developers are happy and the company is happy and reinvesting in the next awesome Tripwire title.
