Russian Recon Plane makes Mosquito Sound

Ok, whenever the Russian Recon plane flies near me I hear a slight Mosquito noise which is hurting my ears. It's like the video below. Anyone else notice this?

I have always heard that name in-game since day1 of beta, it depends where I am looking. If I turn around fast the noise changes a bit then slowly returns how it was.

It's not as high pitched but it's driving me bloody insane.

I must be an old man, I cannot hear the mosquitto noise. The Recon Plane does sound high and whiney though.

Is that the noise?

Haha, I kept hearing a weird noise and I had no idea it was the recon plane! I thought something was broken or a bug.. Sounds totally out of place to me. All the other sounds, for the most part, are awesome (even when loud and scary)

Quick side note: it would be awesome if, on some maps, the Germans could call in Stukas instead of arty. Withthe famous "Jericho Trumpets" of course. Terrifying

Yes, i hear it too, it is so bad it hurts my ears. its also the german plane too.

The Po-2 reconaissance plane was nicknamed "the sawing machine" because of its sound... something like a chacachacachaca... It had a 5cylinder star engine.
The Fieseler Storch had a bigger V8 that should sound as an american car...

I played it and got kind of sick, I'm 21 and holy crap just make it stop Afraid my nose would start bleeding. I'm talking about the video btw, I've never heard the planes in game.

Try having it freeze above the map in the center on fallenfighters - all you can hear the whole match.
