Russian Language pack not working

I've downloaded the russian language pack via steam, but it doesn't work. Instead of russian letters in chat and in achievements it shows only "~" for every letter... My Mac OS 10.6.4 is in Russian and there are no similar problems.

I've found a solution, but had to use a side-developed patch. Hope this problem will be solved by official patches too...
And I still can't write in russian in chat and the language can't be changed in the game by "Cmd+Space"

I think you may need to have the fonts installed on your Mac that the "side-developed patch" is using. Can you give me a link to the files I can maybe figure out the fonts.

I took it from here. It's used by windows version users, but luckily it works on Mac too=)

Not really sure what it is you are asking about, Russian Language packs? Those have to be installed system-wide, and I am not sure if they have been tested with the Killing Floor Client.

It is possible that this patch that you have is causing your perk problems, but again I don't know.

This problem exists on PC versions too. Without installing this patch, you can't see russian text in the game (ciryllic symbols), and it is absolutely not connected with perk issue=)
The russian translation of the game installed from steam doesn't work on mac (works on pc).
