Positive?...lol have you read some of the comments? They have noting to do with the map(s) lol.


Oh well, I don't have another choice here. Since they don't want to change the max folder size, i'll have to delete them and start over. Even with doing that, i'll be limited as to how many maps i can upload to WS. :rolleyes:

Hell I don't even have motivation to do anything else to it anymore, because of the hate for the map. I've pretty much lost every ounce of motivation that was left in me after this map.

I've become very confused soul after this. At first it was a cake walk for the Axis, now after making changes, Axis can't get past B.C cap.

As someone on the server said, " It's just a terrain map with randomly placed trees."

Playing few rounds on full 64 slot server the other day, it felt like there was absolutely no flow to the map. Even though the server was full, it felt empty.

I like this Map. It is pretty cool. One of my favourites. Playing this Map Squad based like 6 vs 6 or 8 vs. 8 is great. There is the real atmospheric Effect for it. It`s a real good work. Thanks for it. Don`t hear what all These stupid guys are talking about it. Let me tell you something: When Betio was released i was really pissed off, cause some guys have played her not more than 4 times. Everything what i hear like: too Big and Rising Storm is not a German Conflict...bla bla bla is-> STUPID. Make your own Thing f... the rest, and be Happy. You did a real good work. I played her for the first time in the night on the RGN Server a Long time ago now and i liked her or it (in german it is: die Map - Female). On full Servers it is hard to attack and you can get stucked but then your Team is **** and full 64 is too much. It`s no fun then playing for me personally.

Firstly, I'd like to say that I very much appreciate your work with this map solely for its size and landscape, allowing for game-play you don't experience with most of the maps in this game.

I have played earlier versions and I do agree that Axis had things more often than not going their way, but I consider that largely due to low player amounts.

Having played this map on nearly-full and full servers lately, I have noticed that Axis are stalled at almost every objective they reach (maybe getting as far as C or D most frequently), usually with Axis winning only by wiping out Allies' reinforcements. The first possible solutions that come to mind would be to increase the rate of capture on the objectives or adding more minutes onto round time.

Additionally I think adding lines delineating the boundaries of the objectives would be very helpful to all who play this map. I often found myself confused about where exactly I needed to be to capture/defend.

This is a beautiful map! I love the size as well. Hang in there, it has great potential.

I usually see the attackers get stalled as well early. Part of it may be that they aren't taking advantage of the flanking opportunities offered by the map, this would change as the map is played and people learn it. Rakowice was similar, it took people a while to figure out the best way to attack the objectives and until they did, they were often steamrolled.

I think the defenders spawn close enough that they can always reinforce the caps in time. Maybe move the defending spawns back a bit?

More arty for attackers?

I still really love this map although I do think that in v4 the attackers could spawn a bit more forward and faster. Getting it between v4 and v3 would probably be ideal :p

Great map, one of my favourite contenders.

Spawn distance to closest cap in 180-200 range seems almost ideal for most RS maps.

Some railings on top of storage tanks block set up mgs from firing (the japanese types at least). Lowered or raised to get out of line of fire?

Single caps are a bit unruly in a slugfest sense. There might be two solutions. Either bottleneck approaches slightly to narrow down access, or go opposite way and ensure that two caps are open at all times except for the final cap (of course).

But nice work and thank you for doing it.

when we run it , it just goes to iwojima... any ideas?

This map would be great if B cap was made larger/extended further towards Japanese lines. Playing it right now, both times Japanese couldn't get past B cap. There is little to no cover when trying to attack it. But seeing as it will be official I suppose that's up to TWI now?
