no. you have it backwards. anyone owning RO2, will be paying less for Rising Storm than someone who does not own RO2.

i know, now you say, but wait! i own RO2 why can't i get Rising Storm for free? the guys buying Rising Storm get RO2 for free! here's the deal. RO2 will be about a year and a half old, by the time Rising Storm comes out. how much do you think RO2 will be selling for then? it's already gone as low as like ten bucks before. why should anyone get a free copy of Rising Storm with a purchase of RO2, for under ten bucks?
but i pre-ordered, you say. well why did you do that? was it because like me, you just couldn't wait for it and wanted in on the beta? was it because you wanted the TF2 hats? bayonets unlocked? MKB/AVT? maybe you just wanted to play it the very minute the servers went live? (i know i did)

i'm happy i pre-ordered RO2. i'm happy i got the dde as well. do i regret in any way at all my decision? no. i was pretty much bug free and have been having a ball on RO2. but even if i wasn't, i still would not expect the Rising Storm devs to pay for my mistake. they earned their money. let them have it.
RO2 was less than the price of dinner and a movie for two. Rising Storm looks like it will be less than the price for one person.

let's not be so cheap about who gets paid for their efforts.

Yes someone explained it to me already and yes it makes sense now.

I bought the DDE because of the Beta and because I believed (and still do) TWI should receive the extra support and money, I was just a little suprised when someone explained it to me in the wrong way, but your post actually made sense to me.

I rather pay some money for RS but knowing I'll be getting expansion game with good maps and well prepped, instead of getting free mod that has tons of problems.

And from what I have seen in Roost, they did very well with the mod, constantly improving and adding new maps,dont mind spending money on this team.

i own RO2, and they say the actual owners will get a discount.

That's enough for me. I want to keep collaborating with tripwire to get this game the best it can be, and now with that excellent expansion ahead, after the videos and see such a good quality, i can say that i'll buy it for sure.

Another different thing is having to pay RO2 twice, if you know what i mean. But with that deal, come on people ;-)

If you get RS, you will get RO:HoS Multiplayer as part of the deal.

If you already own HoS, you can get RS as an upgrade.
