Alright, so I played quite a bit of KF a few months back with a bunch of friends online. The new "Level Up" pack brought us all back (Thank you TWI) to play some more KF.

A few months ago, I used to host a listen server and they would all join (I have the best upload speed of the four of us). However, now when I host they cannot join. They SEE the server, but it will not connect. However, if one of them hosts, we can all join. (But now it is laggy as their upload is poor).

I have a D-Link DIR-655 and have not changed any settings as far as I am aware. I have the following ports forwarded: TCP: 28852, 8075 UDP: 7707, 7708, 7717, 28852, 20560, 8075

Also, I noticed on that website that tests for open ports, it says 8075 is closed, even though I have it forwarded. Could this be my problem?

If I bypass the router, I can host. In the mean time, I'm going to try and set myself as the DMZ.

I don't think so. You only really have to have UDP port 7707 forwarded to host a game (I believe).

How are your friends trying to join the game? Through the in-game browser or Steam Friends?

If they join through steam friends it says "server is not responding" otherwise if they go through Killing Floor it says "connecting" indefinitely.

I'm not sure about the server browser in Killing Floor but I'm pretty sure that when you host a listen server, Steam Friends reports your computer's LAN IP, which is wrong.

Obtain your IP address from www.whatsmyip.net and have your friends join by going to the server browser, right-clicking anywhere, and select "Open IP" from the menu.
