For Heroes of Stalingrad roladder.net wants to extend the variety of maps used for specific competitions with maps designed specifically with competitive play in mind.

What we can offer:
- 7 years of experience with RO competitive play and the resulting requirements in map design
- A considerable audience playing your maps.
- Help and advise where it is needed with most of the current staff having a background in modding.
- A map testing crew

What we are looking for:
- A motivated guy/gal willing to plan out one or more smaller maps and realize them.
- Mapping experience with UDK/Unreal based games, or if not, the motivation and patience to learn.
- The ability to keep a set timeframe. Typically you are the one setting the deadlines, but then you should be able to stick to them ;)

Thanks for the replies so far :)

While we are explicitly asking for mappers in the above post, we are also in need of modelers to assist the mappers.
Also if you have experience with UScript or are eager to learn it, contact me as well.

and what about a real competitive mode instead ?

respawning (and so spawn killing) isnt competitive and isnt skilled
Mod without respawn, with mutiple objectives would increase teamplay and tactics ...

Anyways, I might be up for it, actually. I am currently working every day in UDK, at home and at school. So, I might be up for it, actually.

Currently, I am doing Midtskogen, though. A Norwegian map.

Yes indeed we are looking for those. Your post felt like the start of discussion about current gametypes and what gametypes you would like to see, if i got that wrong, my apologies.

Sorry my english isnt rich enough to all understand :S

yes i dream about a competitive mod more than a competitive map
(and when i saw your post, i had a "demi molle" as said in my country.
But new maps on Roladder is the first right step i hope ;-)
