As long as there is an animation for entering and exiting tanks I do not see any issue with tankers entering or exiting their vehicles.
I don't think you would even have the ability to set a demolition charge. You would think that they will allow for this since Countdown will include setting bombs to destroy the objectives. And if your the only one left in the tank then you should be the one doing it.

Blacklabel how do you have such a low rep? You're literally the only person I've seen on here with more than one or two red squares. You trying to get the "Blacklabel is as infamous as a tiger" rep?

I am quite concerned about anti-social tankers now though.
Thanks for the reply. I understand why you are doing it -- I'm just stating my opinion. We're considering retaining an option to aim with the arrow keys still, but the movement keys are used to give movement commands to the driver. Also, the mouse controls don't work anything like "those other games" of you mean COD or BF. It is more like recent tank sims Kharkov or t34 vs tiger. But the big thing is it's more intuitive for players that never played RO Ostfront, which we all want to grow the playerbase. And it doesn't instantly rotate or anything, they still rotate at realistic speeds.
Well if you're trying to demo a door or artillery, it would be nice if you could RAM it. Realistic if you could shoot it, but either of these could ruin a map due to gameplay reasons.
Ramming or shooting an objective sure, I just mean I don't think the crewman would leave the tank and go set an explosive device by his lonesome.
