I can understand why XPlay or other casual gamers don't like RO. It is one of the most unforgiving games I've ever seen, and it certainly isn't noob-friendly. Yet, just because a game is "too hard" doesn't mean it is bad, it just means we are better at FPSs than either adam sessler or morgan webb

And you get minus rating for mentioning it :D, and I will probably get that for mentioning the mentioning of it :p.

Sorry, felt forced to.

I hate ranking and stuff like that on internet forums, mostly because even though it's silly and I shouldn't care about it I end up doing it anyway. For that I feel ashamed.

I felt they mostly didn't like it because it was different. They seemed to have a very narrow preference of how and what an fps war game should be like.

Thats because game reviewers are basically casual gamers with no skill who only play games for little bit. They thought that ASSASSINS CREED was hard, jeez, all you have to do is press the X button!

Right, because you could make it through the entire game by just standing there and pressing the X button. The X button fulfills all of your walking/running, climbing, fighting, and treasure hunting needs.

I like how Knighted gets negative rep just for posting now, regardless of the content.

That is so mature.
I like how he getting flamed to hell just for telling his thoughts.

Keep it up, forum. You are proving yourselves to be so much better than the Steam forums (not really).

Or, it could mean that you've taken the time to get used to the game and become better at it than those who have not.

actually for the most part he isn't really getting flamed. fact is a lot of people don't agree with his opinions and have simply asked for him to explain the reasoning as to why he feels the way he does. could probably do away with people auto-negging him every time he posts, but people challenging the legitimacy of the content posted? it's a discussion board.....that's to be expected when you make provocative comments. ;)

I started watching G4 around when they merged with TechTV, I cant remember if it was before or after. But I used to like the fairly low budget shows (Cinematech, Portal, Judgement Day, etc) because they were about something I was interested in.

I also watched Xplay, because I enjoyed their humor, and they were fun to watch. If it wasn't for them, I probably wouldn't have played my favorite game ever, Evil Genius, and they didn't even give it a positive review. I eventually stopped watching and a year or so passed before I watched a few episodes again.

The last time I can remember flipping the channel to G4 was Independance Day a few years ago in our condo in Ocean City. I saw the schedule and saw one episode of XPlay, one of Attack of the Show, and the rest of the day was that crappy Japanese show Ninja Warrior. I thought it might have been just because of the holiday or something, but every day listed was basically the same thing. Ninja Warrior from the morning until whenever Xplay and AotS aired, then right back to Ninja Warrior...

When I watched the Xplay episode, there was 1 review, and the rest was gaming news similar to that of AotS. And at one point, they had an "Xplay Flashback" where they played the "Meet the Sess" video from a long long time ago. While watching that, I realized it was the only time I so much as grinned at something in the entire episode...

I could go on, but I might as well stop with this. Last time I checked, G4tv is a shell of what it once was, and I don't believe it has improved since then...

Ohh please, the guy's a troll and nothing else, he's doing "hit and run" attacks on this forum, he posts something provokative, and then ignores all the replies he gets, because he knows people will get cheesed off if he refuses to back up any of his controversial claims, or even elaborate on his stance.

It's a deceptively simple troll tactic, it gets under peoples skin really fast, but without beeing too obvious, and it's hard for the admins to ban him, because he's not really breaking any forum rules.

Just flat out ignore him guys, then he'll either get bored and go away, or he'll overplay his hand to force people's attention, and get himself banned.

Yeah I agree with you on about G4, I used to watch G4 when they actually focused their attention on video games, but ever since they threw away all that, G4 went to ****. I'm so glad Direct TV removed them off their services. :)
