Server RO2 Server and Windows Server 2019

Hello there,

its a wild shot I know but I want to setup a RO2/RS Server on Windows Server 2019. Now here is the issue:

Everytime I start the server, an error is stating that this application cannot be launched (error code 0xc000007b). I know it has something to do with missing redist or dll files. I already installed the packages that come with the Server download and installed what I think are every .net, VC redist and directX packages I could find online. Does anybody has that one golden tipp that fixes it?

Sadly it has been a few years since I set one up and I don't recall which is the magical vc redist you need.

Might be VC 2015

Hey, thanks for your answer. Sadly, it isnt 2015. I installed everything back to 2013 or 11 or so. I also already reinstalled all of them

Talked with one of our engineers and he thinks 2012 should be the latest (but only 2010 needed), and also double make sure the 64bit versions are installed over the 32 bits.

Thanks again for your reply. I deinstalled everything regarding 2010 and 2012 and installed them again. First the 32 bits and then the 64 bits. But still, the same error
