RO2 Release Date delayed 2 weeks to 13 Sep 2011

Anyway I understand and tbh I actually expected it. It a shame, but better to get the game polished than to have a less than perfect on release.

If they give us beta access in the next days we all were happy...but i don't think so.
We know you are reading this,why u no answer our questions "when will the beta start?" accept for that you make jokes about the word "polish"...that helps nobody.
Everything would be fine if the beta starts in the next days.

What disappoints me the most is there are a lot of examples,when changing release date did not make a game better. I hope that RO will be another story,but still after preorder its a bit weird.

PS September will be hard for me with both RO 2 and BF 3 beta

If I read the FAQ correctly this simply means that the pre-order beta is still planned for late August, but the testing period will last longer. I can totally live with that.

In September a lot of people will be playing the BF3 beta so this delay might hurt the game a bit.

This news is not at all that bad. I'm disappointed that I won't get my grimy little hands on one of the best, if not THE BEST, pc games of all time sooner than later. But to tell you honestly, I was more nervous at the fact that since last week, there have been no press releases, no new updates, no reports and no announcements concerning beta access since the box art was announced. At least now I can rest assured that the guys at TWI are making it a point to perfect the game as best they can, and a two week push on the release isn't that big of deal. It actually gives me more incentive into trying to find a new job..

- the game will exit probably the 13th of September
- probably the Deluxe buyer will play the beta from the last week of August

btw for me doesn't change anything, if the final game will not suffer problems than i will be happy for that delay

The point is we pre ordered the game because we knew the release date was near. If we didn't purchase the game then we would have no right to voice our opinion about the delay. For example; how would you feel if your employer said he was going to hold 50$ of your paycheck for another two weeks?

This is so great! I can't actually concentrate on my exams now it will be just ready in time for me. I was worried the pre-purchase beta would start in the middle of my exams! Now it will probably start right at the end! Perfect timing.

Many people don't work like this. They play a buggy beta and assume the whole game is buggy.
