There was no two week promise. There was a plan to give about two weeks. No promises were made, so no promises have been broken.

The problem seems to be that the game is in the hands of Valve, and knowing their time difference it
Just go to bed, if you want them to post something, all they are going to say is, "still working on it." Which we already know 
Geez, dont bother wrecking your sleep schedule for a game. Heck, if comes out right at this moment you will still have 13 days to play it before the real game comes out.
If you're following this thread where they announced within the next 24 hours, you can see [TW]Ramm-Jaeger's post was made just over 21 hours ago (look at the time stamp) from the time of my post here. For any of you who are confused about your own time zone

From what i've read, the beta is done, they are just now waiting on valve to press the button, stop posting "where is the beta!!111!!!" go over to steam forums and ask valve.

The news has really died down...It's 9:11pm here EST, these guys probably want to go home to there families...
Tripwire is in EST but Valve is in PST, so even when TW time ends Valve time still exists.

Bf2 might not be realistic and have an RO feel but damn it's a really really good game. COD isn't a game anymore. I remember playing RO1 and BF2 and both had there own feels that made playing them both one after the other a-lot of fun.
