Yeah I don't use the WASD or the NumPad setup, I've been using the actual arrow keys on the keyboard since Wolf 3D, and when Quake I came out and I had to figure out how to look with the mouse, the keys were still the arrow keys to move, then around when Half-Life came out, I noticed the WASD setup, which for the life of me I never understood.
Why?
Why did someone think it was a great idea to use WASD in the middle of a pile of other keys when the arrow keys are right there with enough buttons to bind that are decently spread out from one another so you avoid hitting the wrong keys when you're not looking down?
With the arrow keys, I can just feel where my buttons are..... with WASD or the numpad, if I'm off by one key, everything is off, so I usually have to look down to see where I'm placing my hand.
*shrugs*
Anyways, it's good to hear the controls can be setup in the beta, as I even re-bind my mouse.
