RO2 already installed, but Beta started downloading

Just now my RO2 beta started downloading apparently the full game. I already downloaded the full game weeks ago. All previous updates were downloaded/updated by this RO2 install, so this is new and different. So should I stop it and just delete my beta folder?

Is anybody else getting this?

Any idea how many threads pop up for searching "update" or "patch"? Yup, too many to sift through, keep your "search blah blah" posts. So should have looked at the News & Announcements forum.

Funny though, noticed several other threads about the same thing. Like myself, I think a lot of people had no idea they were gonna update the beta version and use it for testing patches/updates. Not surprising considering the announcement is only less than a day old.
