My map takes place in the mountains between the 3rd Mountain Division and the 3rd Shock Army slightly before the history in the above link this period but in the winter

Looks nice, but the background lighting is inconsistent with the lighting of the playable area. In the background it's clearly quite red and warm looking, while in the play area it's blue and cold.
Have you thought about altering the sunlight colour?

just took the redness as the sun setting to be honest suppose I could try various skies I liked the contrast makes the map feel colder with a contrasting background no ?

Looks quite nice. Is the map quite small?

fairly small though it really doesn't feel it when you play it strangely... maybe due to the differences in terrain height and not as many routes up and down the hills as there could be (designed that way)

OK I should have fixed sorry there were elements of DH in there all issues should have been resolved.
