Very good observations. My favorite is when you start up your halftrack and your gunner just starts firing the mg radomly at no targets-they just like to see it shoot.

You best just hit "E" and get out on foot.

1) If on a map-voting server, you vote early (with say 30 seconds in the game left) for the map YOU want, chances are VERY good that once everyone starts voting, they'll vote for your map. It's as if seeing the white next makes them want to play that map. Pretty hilarious sometimes :p

That is so true! :D I've been observing that too, sometimes I dont "just vote", i choose the map we play :p

I always vote when I enter the new server, thatway people see it and feel like it must be worth voting for.

Oh yeah, I also smack AFK's guns away, the best is when they come back too and the weapon is still lying there but they just act like nothing happened.

I'm worse, I usually go the gun, then the grenades etc, so the AFK player might come back and find himself with absolutely nothing.

they say admitting that you have a behaviour problem, is the first step to healing.
so here i go: i just cant leave it anymore to bash the weapon out of the hands of the AFK players or the ones who are busy typing. i dont steal their weapon, but its just hilarious to do it. and they rarely find out who you are, and if you do it right you never get kicked for TK!

some players (me) can only forgive a TK after going back and taking revenge on your killer, by giving him a friendly stab in the leg, or a bash, without intention to kill. then it's all forgiven and forgotten!

I feel like I have been violated.
I always wondered what had happend.

You are all missing the two greatest questions in RO gaming.

1. Why are friendly satchels placed on OBJECTIVES like the proverbial "light which draws the moth"? Every fool and his brother rush up to an objective and stand there looking at placed charges and BOOM > Disconnect for the engineer trying to do his job. Piece of advice: If you are not an engineer stay the F away from the objective which is yet to be blown.

2. What in the hell is wrong with people running into friendly arty?? A good SL announces several times that arty is falling at X location. Yet what happens? Half the team sprints for just that location to pick "mushrooms" that appear to grow on the map in that area. What else could it be? Ohhhh STUPIDITY to the highest degree. Then there is the "Oh, the first salvo finished, I'll just run through that area before the next one comes...". Which means, pudding-for-brains sprints 15 seconds to run out of gas just as the next salvo booms in the distance. Result: Tard-head is now in the midst of the mushroom field doing acrobatics as his diligent SL is being kicked for TKs.

And finally a new rant. The spawn TKer. Advice to decent folk: Let the jerk kill you. Taunt him even. Give him a whack with the rifle butt, shoot as his feet etc. Make yourself a good target for his random spawn firing a couple times and it might be the magic "boot" number to get him removed from the server. Did just that last night on a WB server. Jerkboy thought it was fun to wound teammates so another guy and I taunted him into TKing us and problem solved. Sure, you waste a few minutes of your time, but usually the jerk never returns once the map rotates.

Yes, I agree that satchel charges ARE magnetic to RO Players. Especially idiots. This very serious educational video (produced by me) illustrates this unfortunate fact quite clearly:

A corollary to that:

If you are first into the cap zone you will die by a friendly nade.

Never be first into a cap zone. It's suicide.
Never be last into a cap zone. You're a slacker.

When ever you get into a good front line position where you are actually behind the enemy and just picking them off as they run past you-it is inevitable that one of your teammates will snipe you down. "Nature abhors the perfect RO setup":D
