:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

OMG

That looks visually out of this world! I litteraly double taked on the first shot to see if it was a reference photo!

If the gameplay is at the same standard as the looks then i see a firm favourite coming up!

That looks sweet, always nice when map makers use AA/AF in their screenshots.

Well it looks absolutely splendid, so much so that, for once, I'm going to not even bring out my historical accuracy/realism soapbox.

I am not too surprised by the fps problems. As a general observation, you appear to have plenty of opportunity for some heavy-duty zoning there.

Even so, I think you're going to have to be pretty brutal with getting rid of whatever it is that features in your 'stat all' as being the prime culprit in the fps-rape, be it lighting, meshes or whatever.

I hpoe and pray that you can solve the problems so we can finally have a custom map which hasn't been repeatedly battered in the face with the ugly stick.

No chance! I will continue to berate lazy, "pffft research is for lamers!" mappers everywhere, unless it is clear that their efforts have been well-spent on other things - in this case a mass of BSP, and lighting. :)

As for the ugly stick, I wish I could bury it - problem is too many people use textures from other maps and ho-hum lighting without considering whether they are appropriate to their own map. :rolleyes:

Prime example (and I did this as well, so I am pointing the finger at myself too): A crater in the middle of the countryside is full of bricks and rubble. :eek:

So what happened? - the brick fairy came at night and planted a load of them in a freshly made crater, hoping they would grow to be full grown buildings in the morning? :p

Question for K9 - did you not get even one BSP hole? - If not you clearly have supernatural powers AND we can expect Moz in here very soon with a "because he stayed on the grid" post. :D
