Hello people, i really need your help and good answers. I still own Red Orchestra 2 HoE, i live in Germany, but i importet the game from UK. So i play this game uncut. (Body parts on grenades and artillery fire etc.) (full gore).
I want to get Rising storm too, but as you already know, steam offers the "low violence version" in the german steam store.
But i just want to get the "Digital Deluxe Upgrade" on a 40% discount. That means i ll get Rising storm cheaper because i already have the RO 2 game.
This is just un upgrade, but my question is, will it stay uncut because this is an upgrade or will it be cut, or the worst thing could be. That both games will be cut then.
Did somebody try it out, or really knows what happens then. I just want Rising storm and i want to play it uncut.

Steam says 'promotional price'=8.39 euro (until 30th May), is it a new discount? Cause i haven't seen it mentioned here
Also if i have a free beta key from last week, i have the same beta access now as if i pre-purchased it? So no real difference? Only that the free key won't work after final release, right?

It does say that the promotional price ends May 30th. That's odd.

Does that mean that's when the game officially releases? If it is, I hope it's enough time to fix the more serious bugs.

What ends May 30th is the 15% pre-order bonus, the 25% bonus for RO2 owners doesn't expire
ps.: it's safe to say the game will release AROUND May 30th but not necessarily on that day, some games keep the discount around for some days/week after release...

I've bought RS DDE and indeed, I unlocked the RO2 DDE weapons, but I still don't have access to the KF skins or the TF2 items. Am I the only one or is it a generic problem ? Thanks.

I have the same problem as Kenaroid and PunXt3rr0r: I bought the RS DDE yesterday and didn't get neither the RO2 Killing Floor characters unlock nor the TF2 hats yet.
Don't know if this is of any help but I'm from Germany, got the RO2 key via Humble Bundle Weekly ('Retail' key on Steam accountpage), the RS DDE through Steam ('(DE)' key on Steam accountpage) and in my Steam Library RO2 has the 'Digital Deluxe DLC'.

I got this response too. So I've sent them links to posts in this forum stating that 25% discount only was a mistake.
I've also sent them a screenshot of the store page showing the 40% discount.
Hopefully this should get it sorted. If not I guess just ask for a full refund and re-purchase at the "correct" price.
Yeah I'm not that bothered really. I was quite happy buying it with only a 25% discount, because I was really enjoying the beta so I knew that it would be worth it.
But knowing there should have been a 40% discount bugs me for some reason. More the principle than the actual monetary difference. Humans, funny old things really.
So the only thing we get with a DDE RO2 is nothing but an unlock and someone who bought RO2 for 1$ has the same deal that a fan who preorder a DDE ? Makes complete sense.
