Today, for our German-speaking readers, you can read the interview Rising Storm team's 3 German devs, Robert Chudalla, Jan-Philipp Kueppers and Daniel Baron had with the site heroesofstalingrad.de

The interview is here.

We will publish an English translation of the interview in this thread very soon (unless a friendly German-speaker wishes to do so first :))

"As you can probably imagine, many people are interested in an authentic arsenal of weapons, especially katanas and flamethrowers. Are there plans to implement these things?

* The Arsenal have used dasKaRmA the Americans and Japanese are very different.
* Peace Keeper is only so much one of the reasons why I was terminated, that I can represent any kind of particle effects. ;-)
B0T * I can not make any promises. However, it is ensured that all weapons can be used in close combat. Say 'melee'."

"Plant it at the moment, other allied nations to make playable?

* Peacekeeper Definitely no. I think the time you would have to invest in a variety of player models and weapons, is better invested in high-quality American content. "

Not the best translation(made by Google), but quite understandable. I don't think we'll see aussies and Kiwis :(

Wrong letter xD

hiwis? Hilfwilligers?

Maybe you meant kiwis.

In either case, I'm pretty sure not.

There is enough work to keep the team very busy for the foreseeable future with the full spectrum of US and Japanese weapons to work on.

Maybe other nations for an add-on but it's simply not practical for the first release.

BTW I'm afraid you're also right about Google translation (in your second post).
