So people that buy RS will get RO2 multi free. What about those of us who ****ed up by buying RO2 on release day? MAYBE, the deal should be reversed for us. Bought RO2? get RS for free. it seems only fair, since they are getting RO2 multi free. Go ahead and take away the single player from me, I touch it once and never again.
I know hard work was put into this mod, but im sure a lot of hard work has been put intro RO2 multi, and people are going to get that for free.

Even though the Jap weapons was somewhat outdated and crude I still find their designs interesting.Take the standard Jap rifle for example it had what they called aircraft sights.It was designed to be able to lead targets like low flying airplanes.

As for paying for the game I will gladly pay for it if its of quality design which I'm betting it will be.Not sure what the fuss is about paying for RS is if its a good game the devs deserve the money for their hard work.

Pricing always matters. It's using RO2 mechanics with some new atmosphere guns and maps, it looks freaking amazing trust me, but some people seriously don't have the oppertunity to risk about 20$ dosh on a game that could possibly either split or grow the current RO2 community. It's a gamble I'm not willing to take.
Can I ask why some of you guys are not interested in this game? If you think RO2 let you down maybe this is a time it can redeem you back. This is the same genre game you guys wanted, with another dev team working (w/ twi) bringing their passion and desire to the game.
I signed an agreement not to say anything about the game....but I have to say it is not a low quality game. The RS team is really trying to bring what they feel the players want. In my opinion they are. This isn't just another WW2 shooter, and it isn't just RO2 with skins. (not a completely different game either)

There is literally a discussion going on in the thread right below, that video is already linked in that thread aswell.
Yeah, but the thread was originaly made to discuss the trailler, don't know if this particular video is there as it shows more content than the trailler.
No, they get RS + the MP component of RO2.
We got both SP and MP RO2 for $40 but not that SP worth anything (specially now with all the stutter I still have to finish the Allied Campaign...), so yeah :\

They could take my SP back, i dont want it. Like i said, if they get Ro2 for free with the Rs purchase, we should get RS free since we purchased RO2 for 40 bucks, and had to wait months for it to finally get to a playable state.
Im personally not writing the game off. But if this is really the game that we have been waiting for, then we should get without paying extra for it because we already paid for the game.

Can't believe companies still make single player rather than concentrate all effort on creating an immersive multiplayer game.
Story driven SP's like GTA and Fallout are still great imho. It's just those 5 hour SP's that devs shouldn't really bother with anymore. Scripted as they are they take lots of times to make and most people only play them once and then keep playing MP. Those can be left out but the longer SP's are more than welcome.

Asking for a refund for a game your interested enough about to be on their forums is just plain cheap lol.
Look at the hundreds of "Shovel ware" that is sold each year for full price.
The quality of games in the last 5 years has been terrible.Some really good games have been made but only a handful is worth buying every year.
Hands down out of the top 3 fps's released last year Ro2 still is on that list.While it may not be the top selling the quality of game play (after patches) is solid.The innovation of the game is much better than the top 2 sellers.As they are every bit a copy and paste of previous games.Some features of Ro has never been seen in a fps before pushing the genre forward.
Ro may not be every ones cup of tea it does not follow the mainstream pattern of what is expected.Also it may not be what people expected many would have been happy with a Ost with better graphics.(myself included) I still love HoS times change and so do games and the players and Ro2 in many aspects is superior to its predecessor.Even if it doesn't fit your idea of what the game should be.
Only a handful of real tactical/realism/sim fps are lucky to be released in a five year time period.Twi has earned every penny of their proceeds off this game.The work they have done and continue to do months/years after launch is unheard of today in much bigger developers.
The same can be said for RS and from what I can tell will be worth every penny as well.TW was gracious enough with their game rights and SDK to help give breed to new Indy developers.The Darkest Hour team has went own to be a stand alone developer thanks to TW and Ost.
I would much rather give these small companies support as to help line some big publishers pocket.Lord knows we need more creative developers in the industry that's brave enough to give us true PC games.Niche type games that's unique and very different than anything found on consoles ....that's PC gaming.
Indy developers deserve their money as long as they give a quality product.I bought mine craft because I loved the idea of their design even If barely play it some things are just a good investment.....

I want to see a Russian vs American mod. Hopfully I can learn something this semester at school in coding and make it happen using the existing models and animation. You will have to live with marines tho
