My review:

Surprised, when I first played the game I thought I wouldn't be able to run it on anything but lowest, and the bugs were just awful. The gameplay was being stopped at amusing and not fun because of the horrible buggy problems.

TWI has taken a crappy bug ridden game in 2 weeks and made it into a polished release worthy game, I can run on low/medium with great FPS. So Shut up and let them continue to work! If you got a problem, report it and they'll fix it next patch.

I'm having a blast.

Meh this is untrue.

I'm happy that it runs well for you now. But one look at the forums will tell you that it's not polished.

And I doubt any patch will fix the performance issues. At least not anytime soon.

If they knew how to, they would have done so already.

Yeah, that seems about right to be honest, you have to review a game on what the current product is, and not what it can be in the future.

At the moment RO2 is an example of how not to optimize an Unreal Engine 3 game, and a pretty slideshow.

The game is awesome, no problems.

The optimization problems kill the game.

When tripwire fix this problems we may be looking at the FPS of the year ( mw3 is the same thing over and over and i dont how BF3 will be )

Tempted to get a refund and put the money towards BF3 (Dice know how to optimize their engines), at the moment I am getting ZERO fun from this game. Just crashing and poor performance.

I'm a huge RO2 and I found this statement completely lawl worthy. No way in Hell with this game get near FPS of the year, no offense to TWI.

Awards are handed to the popular choice, and that will be BF3, people already have said it and it will be true. Our personal opinions don't matter, the masses do. So we might see a good player base but no where near the mass scale of BF3 on Consoles/PC/Mass media blitz.

You kinda make it sound like Battlefield 3 is not going to be a valid choice for game of the year, let alone first person shooter of the year.

I've only played the Alpha test, but seriously, Battlefield 3 oozes of quality, from top to buttom.

It's no shame to admit that Battlefield 3 is hands down the better game over Red Orchestra 2, but you gotta remember that Dice/EA combo is giving them a gigantic budget versus what Tripwire can afford.

By no mean is Red Orchestra 2 bad in it's core gameplay, but it has a lot of launch problems right now.

Whether RO2 turned out to be fun or not, the presentation just wasn't acceptable - perhaps a PlayStation Network or LIVE Arcade title at a far lower price - not for a $50 PC title.

Good thing it's not a 50$ title.

That review just lost the right to have any opionion right there.
