I've searched for similar threads, and I posted in the Announcement thread about the upgrade, but didn't get an answer, so I thought I'd see if I can get some clarification here.
I plan on purchasing the retail edition (wish there was a North American collector's edition) mostly because I have to go way out of my way to be able to access Steam online, and I don't want to spend that time downloading the game from Steam. So I was wondering if it would be possible to purchase the Steam Deluxe upgrade after installing my retail copy in order to receive the nice Killing Floor skins? Since this is a Steamworks game, shouldn't it just essentially add the extra content from the Deluxe edition? I'm quite willing to send a little more dosh in Tripwire's direction, so it would be great if this could be confirmed.
