Yeah, dumbed down arcade **** for the mindless console player crowd, amirite?

Nope actually the opposite, things like the weapon sway are totally unrealistic when your standing or even crouched its like being on a boat.

Gees guys, do you really have THAT little faith in the RnL dev team? They speak of changing one thing and you all flip out, assuming now all of a sudden the game direction has changed and now it's going to be Counterstike Goes To Europe from here on out?

I hope that sounds as silly to you as it does to me. I would highly suggest you play the patch before shooting it down. Out of all the people here, I am the only one who has tried out the new bolting system, have seen the lower weapon sway, experienced the much improved Grenade concussion effects, and played the maps that were glitched before. It's all great. The new manual bolting system is fantastic, in my opinion, and much more fluid than before. You can ignore me, but this is a first hand account we're talking about.

It's a patch, and it's what you guys want. Are your attention spans really that short? Please try to give a little more respect and trust in the future...

Nobody is shoting down anything and it is my impression that the only ones who are overreacting are the devs and/or the, pardon for that, fanboys!
Ppl wellcome the patch no doubt but we also ask why they "fixe" somthing nobody was complaining about and no one could give a straight understandable answer or worse is refusing it.
...and it is my understanding that the new bolting isn

No... it's not purely automatic bolting. You still have control of when you want to work the bolt. You can even hold it back, and change weapons... even from ironsights. The system is great for those close encounters when you don't have to click madly to work the bolt as fast as possible.

Just wait to try it before you crucify the idea, that's all I'm trying to get across.

Lets wait and see how they managed it.
Maybe it's better then the current manual bolting we are all used to, maybe not. If hockywarrior (silly nickname btw :D) likes it then it might be ok.

Most of us are just old dogs who feel resistance about learning a new trick.
Tho I'm still curious why they changed it, because saying the desgn team changed it souds like an opinion and you know what they say about opinions.

Monk.

Curses, still can`t post over at Ins.

I hope they also sped up the bolting not just make it automatic. Takes bloody ages to bolt atm.

This is the method I use in RO in fact, because if I don't hold the mouse button I will instinctively double tap and thus rebolt lol
