Resetting perks does not work

Sorry for bumping this topic but I can't understand : why does anyone want to reset his/her level ?

To restart the whole KF experience. I Have almost 800 hours on KF and i played on more than 300 maps. Now i'm playing all those maps, but on a different difficulty because my perks are not at level 6 (and who knows, i might reach 1600 hours). Beating a map on suicidal with a low level perk is pretty fun and you get the chance to help your friends who just bought the game


Oh and its always nice to beat level 6 players when it comes to killing zeds or even when they cant survive (or the dont have enough ammo to keep up) .

Everything Olivier said, but for me personally, I have no drive to play a specific perk anymore. At this point I continue using the same one simply to get better at it, and it's not even leveling. My only one below 6 is firebug, and that's at 5..

If I play with a newbie team I either go berserker or medic and babysit them most of the time. Decent team? Firebug maybe, commando without his SCAR, or something similar. The only thing that's been holding me back from resetting is medic, and the other perks that take way too long to raise such as commando. Plus I heard it resets Steam achievements too.

Anyway; is this fixed or not? Seems to work for some.. Edit:NOPE.

Yeah i know what you are talking about. My medic was the only perk that made me hesitate. I was around 270k of hp at that time . Now i'm a level 3 i think :s. I dont play much on whitelisted maps since i'm testing maps for the whitelist (not whitelisted yet). And when i'm searching for exploits on whitelisted maps, i usually do it alone since most of the members of KEPT have moved on. Testing and writing reviews for maps is not an easy job.

TWI is/was busy recording sounds for weapons and a part of the team is at a conference.

So now we know there is a patch coming on thursday october 7th. But I see no notes about fixing our issue of perks not resetting. Is it to be fixed in this patch too or do we have to wait for another patch?
