Resetting perks does not work

I saw the other topic getting spammed with this topic so why not make a topic? I am having the same issue i put in

[Engine.SteamStatsAndAchievementsBase]
bResetStats=true

But it resets my perks but when i launch i get given Mr.Perky again and also a load of others when i shoot specimens. I checked where i put the line and it says this

[Engine.SteamStatsAndAchievementsBase]
bResetStats=False
bDebugStats=False

[ROEngine.KFSteamStatsAndAchievements]
bOverridePerkLevels=False
MedicPerkLevel=0
SupportPerkLevel=0
SharpshooterPerkLevel=0
CommandoPerkLevel=0
BerserkerPerkLevel=0
FirebugPerkLevel=0
DemolitionsPerkLevel=0

But all my perks are still lvl 6

Any ideas?

I have the same problem.

I input
[Engine.SteamStatsAndAchievementsBase]
bResetStats=true
at the bottom of my .ini file. I start up the game and I can't see my profile or join any multiplayer games. So I play a solo game and see I'm lvl 0. I exit and see all the lines you just posted all turned to false. I remove everything and I still can't see profile/achievements or play any games.. I wait for 1 day or I reinstall game and my perks are same level. I think it's bad from TWI to post this "reset" thingie and when it obviously doesn't work we get no help for our lost achievements.

It seems like none of the moderaters read this forum. I guess the game is dead for them. I think this game could easily be revived with some added content and a balance patch. I'd even pay another 5-10$ for it.

Dude Tripwire is not a huge company and your questions have been answered before...wait. When they'll get some free time, because they are busy with RO:HOS, they will probably look for a fix. And since this is a coding issue, i'm pretty sure that it requires a Steam update. So just wait for the next one, which will provide also new content. And BTW, KF isnt dead, just go in the 3D and mapping section of the Forums and you'll see.

Yeah I haven't played in months since I almost got maxed out on most stuff and because I used mutators to level faster. I just wanna start over and level the standard way with commando class. But it seems impossible atm so I guess I'm not playing.

Same its all people who have the DLC it does not work. It works for my friend who does not have the DLC.

That's just unfair... :(

EDIT:
Tried again, still nothing. When I play, I unlock achievements extremely quickly. I kill one mob and get an achievement. lol.

Sorry for bumping this topic but I can't understand : why does anyone want to reset his/her level ?
