I used the 'fix' on this site but win7 was a little different than explained...I inadvertently toggled 'software' in the 3D rendering mode under options and it gummed up the works.....so.....I right clicked Steam icon on my desktop went to 'Open file location' and in the top right hand corner in the search box typed 'steamapps' then Opened that file... then typed ( .ini ) in the search box again and it will give you a list of all notepads... by sheer luck I deleted the Red Orchestra file (the 'fix' did and that was it....thought I'd pass this along to Win7x64 users....I looked and looked with the other method til my eyes bled C:/ Program/Steam/steamapps.....user accountname....just didn't shakeout like that like I said by luck I remembered the hints in this forum and bingo a much easier way to reset the rendering back to 3D 9.0..
