Level Design Request - port maps

I've actually PM'ed a couple of mappers but have no response so would post this publicly...

Can someone help port these UT 2004 maps from Angelheart to KF?

I used to play these maps in UT2004 invasion type games and thought it would be great for KF.

If there was an easy tutorial on how to do this, I would try it but am not familiar with UT or KF map editing.

I'm not sure how much an original mapper is going to care if someone ports a map from one game to another if they are credited in title. Speaking for myself hypothetically, if someone ported one of my maps for another game for any purpose and credited me I would not care....at all. I would find it flattering. It's not harming me. I don't see it as stealing because there is zero money involved. I made no money creating it and they made no money using it for other's enjoyment.

That said there are circumstances where it would be inappropriate such as taking credit for it (lying), using it for a game that people pay for....you know. Until acts like that are committed it seems harmless enough.

I actually tried to email the mapper but it appears all email addresses are dead!

and I sometime see folks posting ported maps with full credits so thought that was the acceptable process. If we are unable to find the original authors then can we assume their maps cannot be ported?

I updated the first list again with a few other maps that I think would be fun for KF.
