If they don't get a final build out to the beta testers, hopefully they have enough internal testers to validate the code correctly. I have my doubts though as I'm surprised some of the big issues with the browser got through the initial testing (sorting, and then double clicking on a server doesn't take you to the right server as an example).
I have the same gut feeling that I have when a sponsor is pushing to get code into production that you know still has bugs in it, but they're willing to take the risk in order to make the deadline. Not a good feeling and it usually doesn't work out that well.
This is true. How many employees did TWI have again?

Im sure 1 of them could of atleast given me some confidence that there was even a recognition of my concerns and that there was even the tiniest chance that there would be changes to a feature (not a bug) later down the line. As we are leading up to the final deadline, some communication would have been nice.
But no. Im left in the dark and waiting on a refund request.

15 slave coders, 5 artists, 2 sound experts, 1 president, 1 vice-president, 1 community manager, 3 forum mods, a 24/7 dedicated pizza delivery guy, 2 dogs, 1 parrot, a turtle, 2 zombies, 3 KF specimens, a priest, a chained girl in the basement and a box of cookies.
Looks like a lotta people to me

Not sure, but if I had to guess you could put the entire dev team on the average school bus and still have room to spare.
As a test lead for many years, and a developer and project manager for many others, I know exactly how the process goes. I also know that last minute fixes tend to break more things than they fix if not designed and implemented correctly. The beta exists for a reason, so to say that they don't want to get it into our hands is pretty stupid. They have the beta for a reason.
You haven't even played the final, released version of the game and already you are "waiting on a refund request?"
Seems pretty impatient to me. Just because they haven't stopped everything to communicate with you doesn't mean your issue won't be addressed, necessarily. If they had to stop an write a post about it to EVERYONE who reports an issue, when would they be able to fix any of them????
Are you a real person or that Chatbot? Surely anyone with a grasp on, well, anything would know that Steam doesn't charge for each build of a beta that is released.
like I said, if they want to help people to decide they need to communicate. Im not going to gamble on a whim. if they cant respond to me with any info when there is incentive for them to convince me to go with it, then i cant see them doing it later when there is no incentive.
just leaving me in the dark with no info is making my mind up for me as we get closer and closer to the deadline.
anyway, cya guys. Im not going to gamble on them changing a game feature later on, that doesnt happen much.
I want to take a poll right now, IS he
A.) CoD player
OR
B.) BF player
YOU DECIDE!!!!!!
Well since my issue is with team balance, I could have played many many FPS games over the years that use this (which I have), so it could be a big poll.
But its cute how you only think back as far as CoD or BF. Auto team balance is used all over buddy. Get over yourself.
