This is ridiculous. I didn't kill anyone or did anything dishonorable. I changed class. Don't lower my kill count and honor meter just for that.
Take away the penalty, but you should still die when you switch. I'm sure they don't want 5 to 6 roles tied up at any one time while people select a role and reserve it, then play for another 3 minutes before they actually spawn as it.

They should just remove the auto-suicide when choosing a class.
Nothing wrong with the old way of choosing a class, then typing "suicide" in console.

The penalty needs to be there, or others say, bring back RO1's system, change class and either wait to till or suicide.
For every kill lost through class switching, I bet 5 more are gained from firing random shots toward their spawn.
I don't personally like the -2 penalty. I think, given how easy it is to accidentally suicide, they would be better off implementing some kind of time based penalty instead. For me, queuing up a role isn't a big deal; I just want to stop re-spawning in the middle of a role change.
