For all of those who continiously keep asking for a release date of the DDE beta, I have found the Steam group that the Family and Friends beta testers use to communicate, exchange information, etc.

From this page we can see some obvious things, such as server IP's (That we can't use yet
) and several meeting times, but I believe that the most important piece of information is the Upcoming Events area of the page. On here we can see that the last Beta test for friends and family is (as of now) scheduled for August 16th. This could possibly mean that the Beta is almost ready and will come out anytime after August 16th, unless these events change, or unless more polishing needs to be done.
Just thought that I would provide some insight into this issue, for those people who continuously keep checking the forums (like me).
